Chair for Information Systems for Sustainable Society (IS3)

YOUR TASKS

  • Planning, implementation, coordination and documentation of tools in the research areas of smart energy and mobility. Tools include
  • Simulation platforms
  • Large scale data management tools
  • Analysis & visualization tools
  • Planning, improvement and implementation of data analysis workflows in the aforementioned areas
  • Publication support (data gathering & processing, writing)
  • Administration and maintenance of servers and workstations

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed university studies (master or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Software Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with software and architecture design patterns
  • Experience with backend and frontend development with Java, JavaScript and Python (experience with Spring, VueJS, TypeScript, pyTorch, gym and REST patterns would be beneficial)
  • Knowledge in Linux, Docker, Bash, data visualization and analysis techniques is desirable
  • English skills, German desirable

The position is available immediately on a full-time basis (39,83 hours per week). The contract is a permanent one. If the applicant meets the relevant wage requirements and personal qualifications, the salary will be based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.
