We are seeking a Professor of Fashion Sustainability for the newly established Manchester Fashion Institute.
Developing, leading and publishing world-class research, you will strengthen a team of professors driving fashion forward as a specialism within MMU, whilst developing an external profile for the subject area. It will be your responsibility to lead public engagement with research and play a pivotal role in the strategic development of the Manchester Fashion Institute and the University. To this end, you will lead collaborative research projects, develop and maintain research grants, and provide research opportunities for academic staff, whilst contributing to teaching and providing support to students.
Although this is a full time post, fractional posts will also be considered.
To join us, you will require a PhD or significant experience in research-driven professional practice within the field of Fashion Sustainability. Equally importantly, you will be working within established research groups and will be able to write and exhibit with authority, both nationally and internationally.
