At the chair of energy economics and assistant professorship of energy market design, we are investigating a broad range of energy markets, carriers, and infrastructures, their decarbonization, digitalization, and decentralization, related questions of sector coupling, regulation, and market design, as well as the role of energy in the macroeconomy.
We closely collaborate with the Institute of Energy Economics (EWI), the Faculty’s Key Research Initiative on Sustainable Smart Energy & Mobility (SSEM), and the Faculty’s Excellence Cluster ECONtribute.

The position is available immediately on a full-time basis (39,83 hours per week). The position is limited for a fixed term of two years. If the applicant meets the relevant wage requirements and personal qualifications, the salary is based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.
