The CheckSem team of LE2I has an open position for a post-doc researcher in web semantic (espacially ontologies) and data mining.

The candidate holds a PhD in computer science. His mission is to strengthen the scientific team with skills in semantic modeling and methodological development of solution related to semantic web domains and artificial intelligence.

The person must have good publishing experience in the field of semantic web and / or artificial intelligence research.

He will have to build a domain ontology, which must be formalized in description logic (SHOIN(D) type). The candidate will have to make a state of the art on the field and write several research articles on the subject in collaboration with the research team Checksem.

The candidate will have to ensure the scientific follow-up of the project as well as the supervision of IT developments and related resources.

The monthly gross salary will be 2380 EUR (about 1945 net income after tax).

About CheckSem team : It is made of 5 permanent senior researchers (1 full professor,  3 assistant professor  and 1 development Manager ) , 5 PhD student, 1 post doc, 5 engineers. The main research topic is causal reasonning and diagnostic about knowledge mainly using ontologies. This team is young and very dynamic.

It is the capital of the Côte-d'Or department and the capital of Burgundy.
