The Role & Responsibilities
You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the teaching and research efforts of the School, in particular in the discipline of Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering focusing on Electronic Engineering. The successful applicant will be required to teach courses employing the Cadence EDA tools. This position will be expected to undertake high quality research in the designated fields preferably in collaboration with industry, including supervision of project students and HDR students (Masters by Research and PhD).
Skills & Experience Required
We are seeking individuals that hold a PhD in Engineering in a relevant field along with:
- Proven record of academic and/or professional achievement in Electronic Engineering.
- Experience employing the Cadence EDA tools or other analogue electronic EDA tools is required
- Ability to undertake high impact research in the designated field and win competitive research grants and/or research contracts with industry
Experience in supervising PhD research students and ability to develop teaching and learning resources will also be highly regarded.
