YOUR TASKS

The Academic Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Policy (ANSER) is an international thematic network that fosters interaction and knowledge sharing between academics and policymakers. The network was initiated by Ghent University in 2016. Today it counts 47 members (academic institutions and non-profit organizations) from all over the world. Members engage in joint research projects, weigh in on current policy debates and host innovative training programs. As a global resource for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) policy research, education and service delivery, ANSER helps to build an evidence base for SRHR policies for everyone, everywhere.

The ANSER secretariat is hosted at the International Centre for Reproductive Health (ICRH), a multidisciplinary research institute within the Department of Public Health and Primary Care at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Ghent University. ICRH conducts research and intervention projects in all areas of reproductive health, implements capacity building, provides community education, prevention and HIV testing services, and advocates for sexual and reproductive health and rights.
