At RMIT Vietnam we are always on the lookout for academic professionals to support us in the delivery of our programs across our University. Opportunities vary to align with specific background and expertise required. For this specific season, we are looking for lecturers/senior lecturers for Information Technology, Software Engineering, Aviation and Psychology. As an academic professional you will be given the opportunity to teach across undergraduate and post graduate programs whilst developing your own scholarly and research capabilities. You will be able to actively promote our programs by establishing and maintaining networks and partnerships with academic, industry and professional communities (locally and internationally). 

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• Master Degree (for Associate Lecturer) or Ph.D. (for Lecturer and Senior Lecturer level)
• Proven teaching experience in the discipline you are applying for at least 3 years required
• Industry or professional experience
• Strong research capabilities. Strong team player with an inclusive and collaborative approach
• Culturally adept and agile

Please note: 

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS (Academic) with a score of at least 7.0 with no competency less than 6.5 (or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Guidelines).

For Higher Education roles, English Language Proficiency may also be proven by having completed PhD studies while being instructed through the medium of English, and proof of teaching in an English-speaking environment during the previous 24 months.

WORK PERMIT

All foreign employees must adhere to the requirements for obtaining a valid visa and work permit in Vietnam. These requirements are mandated by the Government and may be over and above the mandatory requirements and key selection criteria. Work permit requirements are subject to change.
