The role of the applicant will be to support the interdisciplinary team of PhD students and researchers working on the ARMin project. The goal of the research project ARMin is the implementation of robot-assisted neurorehabilitation therapy of the arm in clinics for patients, mainly post-stroke. The exoskeleton robot ARMin interacts with the patient through games that enable different therapeutic training tasks. You will work on support and maintenance of the existing ARMin games at ETH and the collaborating clinical partners, on games and gamification projects, create concepts and implement prototypes in Unity and other appropriate software tools. The position is available from now.
A successful applicant should have experience in Unity development and C# programming. Preferably, she or he should also have an interest in most aspects of game technology development, such as gameplay design, game mechanics, user interface/user experience design, and network programming. The applicant must be fluent in English.
